About the Ada Arts Council
The Ada Arts Council was established in 1992 by an enlightened group of thirteen members of the Ada community. They included artists, business owners, and public officials who shared a common interest, “to encourage participation in and the appreciation of the arts by the residents of Ada, Michigan and its environs.”
To that end, the Council has engaged in a number of activities over the years. The most visible of these is the annual Arts in Ada Festival, held annually in May in Ada Village on Bronson St. Over 50 artists display and sell their work in a wide variety of media. An outdoor stage features live music and dance performances.
