Handmade Edinburgh – Call for Artists
Handmade in Britain announces a call for artists for Handmade Edinburgh.
Deadline: 31 Jul 2016
Set to become the leading showcase for contemporary craft in Scotland, Handmade Edinburgh 28-30 October 2016 is supported by Craft Scotland and will take place in Edinburgh’s iconic landmark and key event venue, The Hub.
Handmade Edinburgh is a three day selling event and is highly consumer orientated, offering visitors the opportunity to view, buy or commission their perfect piece and take it home with them.
Handmade Edinburgh invites applications from individual designer–makers of contemporary craft who work in the following areas: fashion, interiors, textiles, glass, jewelry, paper, furniture, stationery, metalwork, ceramics, sculpture, woodwork, and prints. Makers do not have to be Scottish or live in Scotland to apply.
This is a brand new event, the first of its kind in Scotland.
Handmade in Britain has ten years of experience organizing contemporary, high-end craft events in London and Bath. Last year saw the successful launch of our first international show, Handmade at Kew which saw over 7,500 visitors across four days. This year, we’re reaching out to more areas and adding a new event to our portfolio with Handmade Edinburgh.
