About Dogwood Arts

Dogwood Arts‘ mission is to promote the art, culture, and natural beauty of their region. Dogwood Arts strives to connect artists with opportunities. During the month of June, they provide a multi-faceted platform for both emerging and established regional artists to share their work, meet their peers, and advance their creative talents. They work with over 1,420 artists throughout the year on eighteen unique programs. Dogwood Arts plant over 900 dogwood trees on trails and by-ways annually. They work with over 750 volunteers at the popular music festival, Rhythm N’ Blooms. Dogwood Arts awards over $350,000 in scholarships to youth artists.  While the Dogwood Arts Gallery is relatively new, they curate monthly events related to diverse programming.
