Black And White Art Show – Call For Artists
Carrollwood Cultural Center announces a call for artists for the Black and White Art Show, an art exhibition that showcases the powerful, yet graceful, restraint required for creating art using only a black and white palette. While the subject matter is open, the color palette is limited to tones of black, grays, and white. Original works only.

Artists are invited to enter up to three works at $15 each for the Black And White Art Show. Space is limited. The Center is a family-friendly facility; therefore, they cannot accept work with blatant violence, guns/weapons, or nudity. The exhibition is open to all living artists within the state of Florida. Large works (50″ in any direction) are ideal. Small works are fine as long as they are framed properly. Limited pedestals for 3-dimensional pieces are available.

- Delivery of Artwork: Mon., November 26 / 2-6 p.m.
- Gallery opening and reception: Fri., December 7 / 5-8 p.m.
- Pick up: Wed., January 2 / 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
About Carrollwood Cultural Center
The Carrollwood Cultural Center is and arts-based non-profit organization located in Hillsborough County, north of Tampa, Florida. The Center hosts classes, events, concerts, camps, community groups, art groups, emerging artists, and more.
The Gallery is a living, growing, and constantly changing, display of creative talent of visual artists – both local and international. They have several galleries throughout the building:

- Lobby for featured artists
- Corridor for guest artists and shows
- Atrium for larger works
- Alcoves for sculpture
Located in the heart of Carrollwood Village, the campus includes a the main building complete with a stage, dance floor, art studios, computer lab, and conference rooms as well as a sister building, The Studio, which provides additional space for classes, performances, room rentals, and gallery displays.
The magic of the Carrollwood Cultural Center began several years ago with a special partnership between Hillsborough County and the Friends of Carrollwood Cultural Center (FCCC), a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents through arts and culture. Together, they have brought the community together through the arts.
At the Carrollwood Cultural Center, you are invited to learn a new skill, revisit an old one, or simply “do that one thing you’ve always wanted to do.”
Through art, ceramics, dance, music, and theatre you will gain a new appreciation for the arts – perhaps even discover a talent you never knew you had. Regardless of the reason, there is always something new and exciting to learn at the Carrollwood Cultural Center.
At the Carrollwood Cultural Center, magic is around every corner. Music fills the air, colors dress the walls, dancers float on stage, and drama evokes emotion. The Center has been honored to host an array of local talents from visual artists, instrumentalists, singers, dancers, and theatre groups.
