Deadline: 7 Feb 2019

The Photography, Sculpture, and Fiber Art Juried Show will feature the work of many artists who transform their seen and imagined worlds into compelling works of art. For the first time, RAC will include fiber art as a category for an exhibition in the gallery (defined as fine art whose material consists of natural or synthetic fiber and other components such as fabric or yarn).

Michael Shapiro, Judge, is a collector of vintage and contemporary photography. He became established as a dealer in 1980 after leaving a curatorial position at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Malibu, California. His nonprofit work includes eight years as a board member of the Ansel Adams Center/Friends of Photography, as well as serving on the boards of San Francisco Art Dealer’s Association and the San Francisco Waldorf School.
