Nina Pancheva [Certified Visual Artists – Woking, Surray, UK]
Nina Pancheva is a new Side Arts Certified Visual Artist from Woking, Surray, UK.
The art practice of Nina Pancheva is an intersection between painting, art installations, and research. Her practice based PhD research project in the University of Southampton marked the beginning of her specific approach to fine art as a method which explores the world by both written and visual means. Her paintings usually include realistic elements which are juxtaposed with abstract ones or with a specific way of perception developed by the space of the art installation.
For her education, Nina took Fine Art in the University of Southampton where she earned a Master’s degree with distinction. Her works have been shortlisted for the final exhibitions of Sunny Art Prize, London; Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize, London; Beep International Painting Prize, Swansea; and DAAD Art Competition, Vienna. Her paintings have been included in private and public art collections in the United Kingdom, USA, Bulgaria, and Austria. Nina’s papers were published in two books: Art as Cultural Diplomacy: European Perspectives, ed. by Cassandra Sciortino, Cambridge Scholars Press and Making Pictures, ed. by Beth Harland, London: RGAP & Camberwell. She presented papers from her practice based research at international conferences and seminars in the United Kingdom, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Canada.
