[Side Arts Certified Sponsored Listing] The Carlsbad Oceanside Art League announces an open call for California artists for their 72nd Fine Art Open Annual juried art exhibition, to be held August 4 – September 1, 2024. The purpose of this long-standing exhibition is to promote the creation and recognition of original quality 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional works of art.
The North Coastal Art Gallery will host the exhibition in Carlsbad, CA, in the heart of downtown Carlsbad, CA, with a free, open to the public reception, and provide cash awards.

Chosen artists for the 72nd Fine Art Open Annual juried art exhibit will benefit from having their art exhibited in a gallery that is located in a highly trafficked public space. The North Coastal Art Gallery is located in historic downtown Carlsbad. The gallery has between 1,500 to 2,000 visitors a month with tourists in and out daily to the space.
In addition, there will be an opening reception that will be attended by artists, area politicians, notables, and the public. The Gallery promotes the opening reception and exhibit in all local media outlets and will be promoting a video of the show for online viewing with the artist names as credits.
About Carlsbad Oceanside Art League
The Carlsbad Oceanside Art League was founded in 1951 and the North Coastal Art Gallery is a part of its Art initiative. This effort to support art in public spaces includes several permanent public art exhibits in a safe space for you to build creative confidence.
The North Coastal Art Gallery is managed by the (COAL), Carlsbad-Oceanside Art League which is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, formed in August 1951, by a group of 5 emerging and established artists who lived in the Carlsbad and Oceanside area. Their mission was to promote art education and cultural appreciation in the community, and whose primary purpose is to provide art enrichment to artists, and provide a place to display artwork.
