"I photograph the beautiful in the every day: the light falling across the face of a statue, the sun rising over the skyline, the moments of quiet. The first camera I ever held was my father’s 1968 Asahi Pentax: I fell in love with the intimacy of viewing life through the lens of a camera. Today, I use both digital and traditional film cameras to capture my images."
