Through my photography, I try to visualize the forms and colours that can be found in our waters. Water does not possess any specific shape or colour by itself, but is formed and stained by the physical forces and appearances surrounding it. Thus, water can take an unlimited number of fugacious forms and colours, most of which pass unperceived. But when frozen in a photograph, these fugacious forms and colours become observable and sometimes look like artworks created by human artists. I want to convey these fascinating pictures of natural phenomena to the beholder, who may realize the beauty to be found in our everyday environment that we take for granted.
My photographs show the fascinating beauty of natural shapes and colors, that generally cannot be seen with the naked eye.
