Social Equity

They seek to give a platform to artists whose style of artwork or whose personal characteristics have provided them with limited opportunity to show in all our exhibitions.

About J + K Isacson

J + K Isacson works with emerging, mid-career, and museum-exhibiting artists. J + K Isacson are curators for the exhibition, working in partnership with the Northern Area Arts Council and the Old Courthouse Arts Center in Woodstock, IL. It overlooks historic Woodstock square, which you may recognize from the film Groundhog Day.

The Old Courthouse was constructed in 1857, a classic brick structure designed by one of the country’s most prominent architects, John Mills Van Osdel. The adjoining Sheriff’s House & Jail was built 30 years later. After 115 years as the focal point of McHenry County government, the county outgrew the buildings in 1972 and the complex was to be demolished for a parking lot. It was saved from the wrecker’s ball by Woodstock residents Cliff and Bev Ganschow. The Ganschows bought the buildings and began an extensive renovation program completed for American’s Bicentennial in 1976. Because of the buildings’ architectural and historical significance, both the Old Courthouse and Sheriff’s House & Jail are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Philosophy Of Contemporary Art (Rome, Italy) – Call For Artists

ArtSpaceDream announces a call for artists for the Make Way project, the Philosophy of Contemporary Art exhibit to be held in Rome, Italy. Located in one of the most popular areas, Trastevere, in the cozy Spacio40 gallery. The exhibition will last nine days over two weekends.

Click here for the application / registration

Deadline: 15 Dec 2019

Philosophy Of Contemporary Art exhibiting artists should include art philosophers, artists who gracefully embody their deep ideas on canvas. No matter how this idea is expressed – in form, colors, style, shapes, or faces. The main thing is for the artist to know exactly what his creation is about and able to convey this to the viewer through painting.

All that is born in modern art today is the search for new sensations in the viewer, the desire to surprise or even shock. Art should induce a person into discussion, the person must think, analyze, and form opinion.

About ArtSpaceDream

ArtSpaceDream is a small team of like-minded artists who follow their dreams. They have created a company that organizes exhibitions of artists whose names are not yet known to anyone. Designers, journalists, and an art curator work with them. Their goal is to help artists go beyond their own workshop and create a full-fledged exhibition portfolio that will help further advance the artist in the market. The paintings must travel. The name of the artist must sound in different countries.

Known briefly at the beginning of the twentieth century as Daughters College, the institution changed its name to William Woods College to honor a major benefactor and began offering a two-year college program. In 1962, anticipating dramatic changes in the role of American women in the labor force, William Woods became a four-year college.

Expanding its mission to address the need for graduate and adult-oriented programs, the institution became known as William Woods University in 1993. It began offering graduate degrees and admitting men as well as women into all of its programs.
An independent institution, chartered by the State of Missouri, governed by a self-perpetuating board of trustees, and in an ongoing covenant relationship with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), William Woods University remains committed to serving the public good by helping students link intellectual development with the responsibilities of citizenship and professional life.

BBA Gallery is more interested in authenticity, perseverance, professionalism, and outstanding artworks, no matter the medium.
