BlinkGroup Gallery is looking for innovative visual artists to participate in our spring exhibition at ArtExpo, Pier 94 – NYC. The world’s largest fine art show – April 23 – April 26, 2015.

Your Best – Call for Artists

Exhibitions Without Walls – We often get emails asking us what types of images would be best to submit for a particular theme. Our response is one of “Use your imagination and creativity.” Well this competition has no restrictions and doesn’t require interpretation. It is all about submitting what you think is some of your best work, nothing more.

Call to Artists – Cash Awards – Juried Exhibit

Embracing Our Differences is accepting submissions for its 12th annual outdoor juried art exhibit celebrating diversity and inclusion to be displayed April – May 2015 in Sarasota and Bradenton, FL USA. 39 artists will be selected and national and international submissions are encouraged.

Deadline: 1/5/2015.

Since 2004, the exhibit has been viewed by almost 2,000,000 visitors. Final selections will be made by a 3-judge panel of art professionals. $3,000 (US) in awards will be presented. There is no submission fee nor limit on the number of entries. Submissions must be submitted online or postmarked no later than January 5, 2015. Additional submission requirements and past winning entries are available online.

Embracing Our Differences believes that diversity is one of the world’s greatest assets. To realize the promise of diversity, we must ensure that everyone is respected, included and valued for their individuality. Our goal is to create a community where diversity and inclusion are honored while teaching the importance of being an “up-stander,” not a “by- stander.”

The centerpiece of Embracing Our Differences is an outdoor juried international art exhibit featuring 39 billboard size images created by local, national and international artists, writers and students reflecting their interpretations of the theme “enriching lives through diversity.”

PROMOTION: All accepted Exposure Artists will have a printed portfolio made about you and your work that will be available to the public at the fair. Exposure Artists will also be included in all print and online promotional materials related to the Exposure program at the Fair. This means you will be featured as an Exposure Miami artist, and of course in our online promotions, a link to your web site will be included, driving as much traffic to your work as possible. If you don’t have a website you are proud of, email us to discuss design and development of your web site.

ELIGIBILITY: The Exposure Program is a comprehensive program created for visual artists who wish to jumpstart their careers, show their work at a prestigious art fair, and learn valuable tips on becoming more professional and getting their work seen in the broader art world.

ENTRY FEE: There is no entry fee to apply to The Exposure Program, but upon acceptance, participation fees do apply. (See below.)

TYPICAL FAIR EXHIBITION COSTS: The following is a breakdown of just some of the costs related to showing at an art fair:

  • Booth Rental: $7000 (on the low end)
  • Lighting: $600 (whether purchased or rented)
  • Insurance: $200 (required by all fair venues)
  • Tables & chairs: $500 (whether purchased or rented)
  • Advertising: $300 (business cards, flyers, all that)
  • Portfolio & presentation: $100 (a mead notebook won’t cut it)
  • Car rental & gas: $600 (how are you going to get the furniture and lighting)
  • Airfare: $500 (on priceline)
  • Lodging & meals: $1200 (on priceline)
  • Dedicated staff: $??? (what do you think it is worth?)
  • Professional training that will last a lifetime: $??? (what do you think it’s worth?)

EXPOSURE PROGRAM COSTS: The total price for exhibition, representation and promotion within the Exposure program is $2,995.

The Exposure program is the most cost efficient way of bringing your artwork to a fair of this size. The price includes all of the aforementioned professional training, curation of the show, lighting and hanging of the artwork, full time representation of the artist and their work for the entire 4 day show and VIP party, creation of a printed catalog that includes each artist, their artist statement, images of their work, and a link to their website. It also guarantees inclusion in all printed and online marketing materials related to the show.

We are able to offer payment plans to those that may need to do so.

PROGRAM PAYMENT: All fees are payable online by check or credit card. Monthly payment plans are also available.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Fill out the Application online.  You will need a current CV or Artist Resume, Artist Statement / Bio, and Work samples – Between 5 and 10 images are required. If you are a filmmaker, you may bypass these images and submit a video, although stills are welcome.

The Starry Night Exposure Program is the first program just for artists that offers both professional career training for emerging artists and the real-world experience of showing at a prestigious art fair. Starry Night’s mission is to support and nurture artists and their careers while demystifying success in the art world. Mad Hatter Arts Festival Call for Artists

Mad Hatter Arts Festival – Nov. 15 & 16th in Coconut Grove Florida. Art and music festival, accepting artists working in all mediums. Tent artist are setup inside The Barnacle Historic State Park on the lawn overlooking Biscayne Bay, and table artists are setup along the sidewalks of the commercial area of Coconut Grove.

Square Foot Art Basel Miami Redux Call for Artists

Projects Gallery – Artists are again invited to be part of December’s Art Basel Miami excitement. First presented in 2011 and with over 200 works of art on display, Square Foot offers a truly democratic approach to an art exhibition. The first 100 applicants are guaranteed at least one spot on the wall.

The exhibition will utilize a mosaic-style grid consisting of individual square foot sections in the gallery’s Miami Wynwood location. Finished works, whether framed or unframed, must measure 12″ x 12″. Open to any artist working in any media, including painting, print, photography, sculpture, video, new media. Exhibition dates: 11/22/14-1/10/15.

Projects Gallery exhibits some of today’s finest contemporary artists, including emerging, mid-career and well-established. Projects focuses on artists who practice a personal form of art making, especially with techniques utilizing unusual materials. We have a commitment to each artist’s individual vision and mastery. Abstractions 2014 in the visual arts is about expressing general ideas or qualities of an actual person, object or action. It is about expressing ideas and emotions by using elements such as colors and lines without attempting to recreate the original image. The basis for abstractions is to, in varying degrees, alter the reality of the subject or pure digital art.

The 2014 Osceola Fall Art Festival, presented by Osceola Center for the Arts and Kissimmee Main Street, will take place in beautiful historic downtown Kissimmee on November 15 & 16. All fine artists are invited to apply.
