Steamboat Creates announces a call for artists for Art In The Park 2020. Free to the public and featuring more than 150 juried artist vendors, live entertainment, food vendors and an interactive children’s art area. Only handmade original art will be accepted. This popular and successful event takes place on July 11th and 12th over Hot Air Balloon Rodeo Weekend, which draws large crowds for artistry and color both on canvases and in the air.

Around 10,000 people attend the festival located in West Lincoln Park, on the west end of downtown Steamboat Springs in beautiful Northwest Colorado. The show is open to the public Saturday, July 11 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday, July 12, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Over 20 different mediums are represented. This high-end art fair is selective in its jurying process of handmade items only, which attracts art enthusiasts and patrons. The Waterford Foundation announces a call for artists for the 74th annual Waterford Fair 2018, a juried artisan exhibition with demonstrations and retail sales. This event will be held in the National Historic Landmark village of Waterford, Virginia, on October 5, 6, and 7, 2018. 160 heritage and contemporary artisans from across America are invited to demonstrate and sell their products at the Fair each year.

The oldest arts event in Virginia, the Waterford Fair is unique for two reasons. One, its tradition of being a teaching event. Artisans demonstrate their art.
