Wire is seeking artists of all mediums, but especially visual artists and visual media artists, for an upcoming collaborative group exhibition, Wire Arts Experiment, vol. 2, to take place in the historic building, Hackesche Höfe, in Berlin Mitte.
Deadline: 29 Oct 2015
The exhibition concept of Wire Arts Experiment, vol. 2 is PUBLIC AND PRIVATE. Artists are invited to submit their work in relation to an open and free interpretation of this concept. We are particularly interested in pieces addressing emotive, communicative, digital, and technological notions of PUBLIC AND PRIVATE.
The exhibition opening is scheduled to take place the 19th of November, with a submission deadline of Thursday the 29th of October. In addition to the party, a virtual exhibit will run simultaneously on Wire.
Artists are asked to submit 3 images of their pieces in JPG format, as well as a one paragraph explanation of the concept as it relates to the theme of PUBLIC AND PRIVATE. The final selection will be made by a committee consisting of three Wire team members, one representative from ArtConnect, and one member of the Berlin art community.
Chosen artists will exhibit their work to an international audience of artists and professionals from the tech and start up communities. All works can be sold, at no commission.
