Kamloops Arts Council announces a call for artists for the Art in the Park 2016.
Deadline: 6 Feb 2016
It’s the largest arts event in Kamloops and the biggest one-day event of the year. Artists and artisans who wish to show and sell their work at Riverside Park, Art in the Park, on Canada Day 2016 are encouraged to submit their applications.
More than 90 artists and artisans will display handcrafted and original work at the event from painting and pottery to fashion and jewelry.
Art in the Park is organized by the Kamloops Arts Council (KAC) as part of the City of Kamloops Canada Day celebrations at Riverside Park. The full day of arts exhibitions and sales, demos, and performances is free to the public. Approximately 30,000 people attend the event each year.
The Kamloops Arts Council (KAC) is a registered charitable non-profit organization that is devoted to the development and enhancement of the arts in the Kamloops area. We produce high-quality, year-round, low- and no-cost arts programs, arts performances, arts workshops, and arts events that help to connect our local community and promote our local talent.
