Bogliasco Foundation Residency Fellowships Artist Benefits

During their month long stay at the Center, Bogliasco Fellows are provided with living quarters, full board, and a separate private studio. All meals are shared and every evening Fellows come together for a formal dinner featuring typical cuisine from the Liguria region. For Bogliasco Fellows, the time and space to create in complete freedom, combined with the stimulating company of diverse colleagues in this intimate setting, results in an intellectual and creative exchange that is particularly potent and long lasting. A spirited discussion around the dinner table often generates fresh inspiration and unexpected directions.

About The Bogliasco Foundation

The mission of the Bogliasco Foundation is to support the humanities by offering highly qualified artists and scholars an inspiring haven in which to create new work and a vibrant, international community. Artists exchange ideas, expand boundaries, and form lasting collaborations. Bogliasco Fellowships are awarded to gifted artists and scholars without regard to nationality, age, race, gender, or religion.

The Foundation maintains a democratic application system that is open to individuals who are working on significant projects in the humanities. A rotating, international selection committee evaluates applicants in each discipline. Groups are composed of eight to ten fellows to maximize diversity and create a stimulating atmosphere of cross-cultural and interdisciplinary exchange.
