Angela D’Agostino [Certified Visual Artist – Indio, CA]
Angela D’Agostino is a Side Arts Certified Visual Artist from Indio, CA.
Angela D’Agostino was born at the Queen of Angels Hospital in Los Angeles, California on February 20, 1960. She remembers finger painting in 1965. Her kindergarten teacher knew that her mom had just died. The teacher was wise enough to route Angela in front of an easel. Art is a form of good luck and good fortune and Angela loves it. Her decision was made as a child to work in this field.
Angela attended the Art Institute in Laguna Beach, CA. She began her professional art career as a corporate graphic artist in Los Angeles, CA, in the early 80’s. She produced more and more artwork that evolved into almost exclusively paintings, usually on canvas. Over the years, some canvases have been destroyed and thrown away. They have been stolen and lost. Her portfolio has been critiqued by the best. She donated and gifted artwork.
Her art has been accepted by exclusive galleries. A small painting has hung in the women’s bathroom at the Louvre in France and a men’s bathroom in Costa Mesa, CA. Her art has been viewed on government walls and purchased by a mayor. Around 2000, her work (retablos, small oils on metal) was shown at “FE”, her loft/ vending machine art gallery in Santa Ana, CA.
The subject matter of every piece of work is “love” because what else is there?
Angela’s work is currently being shown and sold on Saatchi Art, Ello, and Behance. She has various published examples available upon request.
