For this NCS members postcard exhibit, 100% are accepted. This is a member show, anyone who is a member and enters will be in the show. This exhibition does not count toward your Signature Member status. This exhibit gives each participating member an opportunity to display one collage.
All collages must be 4″ x 6″ in size. All submissions of collage postcards are to be mounted, not matted, and centered on an 8” x 10” white mat board horizontal or vertical.
There is no jury for the Small Format Exhibit and one awards judge. Cash awards and merit certificates will be selected by the awards judge.

The National Collage Society is a not for profit art organization created in 1985. For the past 36 years, the NCS has fostered collage as a medium. The goal of the National Collage Society is to cultivate the appreciation and interest in the recognized medium of collage. Collage has only been identified and defined during the twentieth century. NCS advances the stature of collage as a major art medium and assists in the public education through exhibits, workshops, lectures, and publications.

The work for Fantasy Lands will be selected by an outside juror. Best in show is voted on by the public in-person. The artist with the most votes wins a $100 cash prize. Artwork must be created within the past two years to enter.
Artists set their own pricing point. All work is for sale in the gallery show. Have the chance to reach a new audience and community who appreciate the arts. Artists receive payment after the show closes if your artwork sells during the show.

[Sponsored Listing] The Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition (BWAC) announces a call for artists for Recycle 2021, a national juried show of art crafted from cast‐off, discarded, and re‐purposed materials and celebration of ingenuity and imagination.
BWAC is seeking to exhibit sophisticated two‐ and three‐ dimensional art created in the re‐use genre. The juror is John Cloud Daiser, Director of Education from Materials of the Arts.

As well as looking for skill in the use of material, BWAC wants to see art that demonstrates the importance of conserving limited natural resources. They will be looking for how well the medium relates to the upcycling movement and how fully the artist’s intention or concept is presented and realized. The Recycle juror’s awards will reflect that artistic judgment.

BWAC’s 8,000 square foot gallery is in a Civil War-era warehouse on the Red Hook waterfront. The vista of New York Harbor, spanning the Statue of Liberty to the Verrazano Bridge, is one of the best in the city. Gallery-goers enjoy the nearby restaurants, bars, IKEA, and Fairway Market.
For over 20 years, BWAC has provided support for musicians and performers, offering performance based opportunities to participate as a major feature of opening receptions and specially themed exhibitions. Performances complement ongoing programming. The art exhibitions and performances are free and open to the public.
