The 12th Annual Port Warwick Art and Sculpture Festival, October 8-9, 2016, is a juried fine arts show with a reputation for valuing the artists and bringing interested art buying patrons to the event.
Awards are given in twelve categories, with total award money given at $5,500.

The Greater Reston Arts Center announces a call for artists for the 21016 Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival.

The 25th annual Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival will be on May 20 – 22, 2016. This is a juried, outdoor, nationally ranked fine art and craft festival that typically attracts 30,000+ patrons, and features over 200 of the nations best artists.
2015 reported sales for artists participating in our event were as follows:
- 9%: between $10,000 – $42,000
- 60%: between $1,001 – $9,999
- 10%: between $150 – $1,000
- 21%: chose not to report their sales
The 2014 Art Fair Source Book report, representing 21% of our artists, shows an upward trend, with average gross sales at $5,882 per artist.
Greater Reston Arts Center, (GRACE) is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to presenting excellent contemporary visual art. Our festival is our primary fundraiser and it allows us to offer its free-to-the-public exhibitions at the arts center and art education programs across all ages (GRACE Art is currently in over 40 schools regionally impacting over 20,000 children).

10% of jury fees and 10% of show sales (taken out of the gallery’s commission) will go to Fredericksburg SPCA to support their work in rescuing animals of all makes and models.

ReCreative Spaces is now accepting submissions for installation artwork proposals on behalf of the Office of the Arts for the Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities Department of Alexandria, Virginia for their SmART Space Program.

Installation art is used in the broadest sense. We are looking for innovative, compelling, and community-inclusive work. All mediums, styles, and collaborations including those not necessarily associated with installation artwork will be considered. Group submissions are encouraged. There is no fee to submit.
Up to ten artists or groups will be selected to create installation work over the course of approximately ninety days within vacant, commercial properties throughout Alexandria, VA. Artists will be paid a commission of $2,500-$5,000 per project.
ReCreative Spaces partners with businesses, government agencies, and nonprofits to develop arts-focused, community-based programming. We make space for art in unused, underused, and unlikely spaces. We are a place for communities to gather and share their passion for art of all kinds. We foster creativity, collaboration, and community. The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art invites artists to participate in the 61st Annual Boardwalk Art Show.

Celebrating 61 years in fine art and contemporary craft on the Virginia Beach oceanfront, The Boardwalk Art Show is top-ranked.
Artists will benefit by having the opportunity to show and sell their work to over 200,000 people who walk the show every year. All artists in the show are eligible to win up to $25,000 in prize money and will be judged by three art professionals from across the country. The best in show award is $7,500.
The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) is a non-profit institution, which exists to foster awareness, exploration and understanding of the significant art of our time. Through excellence and diversity in our exhibitions and educational programming, MOCA stimulates individual thinking and dialogue throughout the community.
Proceeds from the Boardwalk Art Show directly support MOCA and help us fulfill our mission to provide thought-provoking, contemporary art exhibitions and children’s art education programs.
