The Foundation invites applications from individual artists, artistic collectives, and organizations worldwide. Artists (21+), at various stages of practice, cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and expressions are encouraged to apply.

The EcoHouse Artist Residency is a luxurious 6,000 square foot Spanish Villa that sits on 3 acres of land. It is located within a small community in the mountains surrounded by the jungle, breathtaking views, and miles of dirt roads. There are trails to meander, run or hike, and explore. You will be surrounded by numerous and diverse indigenous flora and fauna. It is common to have toucans, scarlet macaws, monkeys, coatis, and sloths pass through. There is a stream that runs through the lower half of the property.

The Foundation harvests fruits, herbs, and veggies from their food forests and greenhouse for the provided meals.

Local tours/adventures are included weekly to Manuel Antonio National Park, Rainmaker, Iguana Chocolate Cacao Farm, and the beach.

The Foundation created several local community projects that our artists in residence are given the option and love to participate in including an Open Air Art Walk and a Volunteer Program for artists to teach at a local school.
