Bates Street Public Art Benches (Keller, TX) – Call For Artists
[Sponsored Listing] The City of Keller Public Arts Board announces a call for artists for the Bates Street Public Art Benches, selecting up to 12 artists for the design and installation of unique outdoor benches located along Bates Street in the city’s Old Town Keller district. The imagination of the artist is the guide. There is not a theme for the benches. Selected artists will have their sculpted bench, with recognition, installed at the Bates Street Park and festival street. The chosen artists will receive $8,000 per bench to include design, fabrication, and installation of the bench. Selected artists shall receive one-half of the honorarium upon execution of the contract and one-half upon delivery and installation of the work. The artists bench will be listed along with all other permanent sculpture in the Keller Public Arts permanent collection on the website.
