O’Hanlon Center for the Arts announces an international call for artists for the 12th annual Women Artists Making Their Mark exhibition. The O’Hanlon Center is committed to bringing more gender equity to the world of art. Artists who identify as female are encouraged to submit.

This show is dedicated in honor of the pioneer women artists who paved the way. To name a few: Artemisia Gentileschi 1593 – c. 1656), Adélaïde Labille-Guiard (1749–1803), Harriet Powers (1839–1910), Augusta Savage (1892-1962), Lee Krasner (1908-1984), Louise Bourgeois (1911- 2010), and Yayoi Kusama (1929 – present).

Women Artists Making Their Mark Jurors: Donna Seager and Suzanne Gray, owners and curators of one of the most prestigious galleries on the west coast, Seager Gray Gallery.

This show will be online on the O’Hanlon Center website and viewed at the live Zoomed Artist round table where the jurors and artists can talk about the work. This will be recorded and promoted after the event through the O’Hanlon website and social media. The show will be promoted with the San Francisco Bay Area Media and have adjunct events related to Women in the arts for the month of September.

The Center is known in the San Francisco Bay Area as a progressive and experiential art center.
