POP! Art With Mass Appeal (Solomons, MD) – Call For Artists

[Side Arts Certified Sponsored Listing] Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center announces a call for artists to submit original artworks to POP! Art with Mass Appeal. This juried exhibition seeks to showcase artworks that capture the essence of, or provide commentary on, pop art’s evolution in the digital age. Artists are encouraged to delve into the vibrant world of popular media and consumer culture. Explore how it shapes and redefines our views on each other, society, and the world. From traditional pop art aesthetics, to internet memes, viral fame, music and television references, popular animation and illustration styles, and logos and icons, Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center invites artists to interpret this theme with creativity, imagination, satire, and/or a sense of humor.
