Las Laguna Art Gallery is open to the public. Clients and guests are invited to visit as long as they have proper PPE.
A select number of The Sky’s The Limit artists will be selected to send their work into the gallery for the in-person exhibition at the Las Laguna Art brick and mortar gallery. All artists who submit to this show will be accepted and have at least one of their submitted works posted on the Las Laguna Art Gallery website. All artists work will be promoted to the Las Laguna Art Gallery client list.

Voss Gallery is accepting entries for Bay Art Seekers Lounge (BASL), a group exhibition dedicated to amplifying the diverse voices of the Bay Area’s creative community. Submit up to three works that best represent your signature artistic style. All themes and subject matter welcome.

Entry Fee is $10 for one submission and $15 for up to three works
All work must be 10 x 10 inches (and may not exceed 10 inches off the wall). All mediums are welcome to apply. Must be ready to hang securely on wall (no freestanding sculptures). Artists must be 18 + years and have a relationship to the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and/or Sonoma).

A ‘Juror’s Choice’ award and two honorable mentions will be selected by guest juror, Cecilia Chia. The exhibition is on view December 2, 2020 – January 31, 2021. An award ceremony and exhibition preview with the juror will be held virtually on Instagram Live (@vossgallery) on Thursday, December 3rd, 6-7PM PST.
Bay Art Seekers Lounge Juror: Cecilia Chia is the founder, owner and director of Glass Rice, a contemporary art gallery in San Francisco, CA. She is a San Francisco native and was born and raised in the Outer Richmond. After moving to Beijing in her second half of high-school and later on to New York where she earned her Bachelor’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College, she returned to the Bay Area with a strong drive to uplift, inspire, and bring people together in her community through art.

Las Laguna Gallery announces a call for artists for Portraits 2020. Open to all mediums, levels of experience, and locations. The human face is an endlessly fascinating subject. A portrait is painting, drawing, photograph, or an artist representation of a person with a particular focus on the face.

For this art call, Las Laguna Gallery is looking for paintings, drawings, or photographs that capture personality, character, expression, spirit, or mood. What story will you convey with your portrait? How will you engage the viewer with your subject? What colors, composition, or lighting will you use to communicate a story? Will your portrait speak and engage the viewer? Will your viewer be drawn into your work?
The main focus should be on the face. Your portrait can be a friend, family member, stranger, or yourself. The work must be able to be hung on a wall to be considered. Sizes up to 4 feet are acceptable. No work that requires special installation or instructions will be accepted.
