Selected artists for the Centennial Plaza Mural will benefit from high visibility in a central, well-trafficked public space, allowing their work to be seen by a diverse audience of residents, visitors, and passing drivers. The opportunity provides meaningful exposure, helping artists build recognition and expand their audience. It offers a chance to engage directly with the community through a prominent downtown setting that encourages interaction and connection. Additionally, participation can strengthen an artist’s portfolio with a publicly displayed project, support professional growth, and potentially lead to future commissions or collaborative opportunities.
The total project budget for the Centennial Plaza mural is anticipated to range between $30,000 and $65,000. Artists are required to submit a proposed fee and itemized project budget that reflects the scope of their concept, including materials, fabrication and painting time, project duration, and other related costs.
