Little Black Book Exhibition (St James, NY) – Call For Artists
[Sponsored Listing] Smithtown Township Arts Council and Mills Pond Gallery invite artists to submit works for Little Black Book, a juried fine art exhibition to be held July 23 – August 27, 2022. Enter artwork inspired by life – works that conjure narratives, take us to places we have never seen, or introduce us to people and places as well as artwork that captures the spirit of your subject – the movement, emotions, or stories.

Juror: Carol Fabricatore has taught narrative drawing in the School of Visual Arts MFA Illustration as Visual Essay Program since 1994.
Little Black Book Awards
- $1000 Best in Show
- $800 Second Place
- $400 Third Place
The first place winner will be invited to a Winners Showcase in 2022.
Selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit in an historic gallery facility that is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Built in 1838, the gallery has 12 foot ceilings and five gallery rooms.

Incorporated in 1972, Smithtown Township Arts Council offers a unique combination of historical preservation, cultural promotion, and arts exhibition. The Council has been committed to the arts in Suffolk County for forty-six years, working to provide a creative outlet and the opportunity to experience, investigate, and discover contemporary art and cultural issues which are engaging and relevant to the public’s daily lives and civic responsibilities.
