MyScape: Landscapes, Cityscapes, Interiorscapes
uBe Art announces a call for artists for MyScape: Landscapes, Cityscapes, Interiorscapes.
Deadline: 3 Oct 2016
The goal of landscape painting for me is to capture those aspects of the scene that move me and then try to communicate that to the viewer. By eliminating what doesn’t appeal and enhancing that which does, one produces ‘art.’ – unknown
A space, moment, scene, or memory, scape art shares something intimate whether it be a soulful connection with nature, an edgy moment within the folds of a towering city, the quiet corner of your room, or any of the vast visions that surround you. Your environment elicits a response that you feel compelled to share.
uBe Art wants to see and share these spaces and moments that call to you. This show is devoted to landscapes, cityscapes, and interiorscapes.
Artist will retain 60% of sales.
Artwork selected for the MyScape: Landscapes, Cityscapes, Interiorscapes show will be on display in a seven week exhibition at uBe Art in the B-Side Hood of Berkeley, California—located 12 miles east of San Francisco. The gallery is a beautiful, light-filled space with 25 ft ceilings attracting artists, visitors, and collectors from around the Bay Area.
uBe Art was conceived with an emphasis on accessibly priced, emerging art designed to build relationships with a broad clientele.
In a culture where traditional galleries tend to intimidate art newbies, uBe Art dissolves that gap bringing art and people of all walks and ages together in a space that encourages all to engage with, get cozy with, create, and appreciate art.
Delivering rotating exhibitions, creative workshops for all ages, and expert led home transformation workshops, uBe Art is hitting all the marks and growing to encompass more.
Perfectly nestled in the busting B-Side Hood of Berkeley, uBe Art is surrounded by a cluster of shops and restaurants with live music and events making the block a great destination spot.
