C3 Art Show – Call For Artists
Carrollwood Cultural Center announces a call for artists for the C3 Art Show including expressive works encompassing visual stories of cultures and worldly people living authentically within their environment. The Gallery accepts 2D and limited 3D pieces including watercolor, acrylic, oil, photography, etchings, assemblage, encaustic, mixed media, and sculpture. This call is open to all living artists within the state of Florida who are 18 years and older.

The Carrollwood Cultural Center is a family-friendly facility; therefore, artwork for the C3 Art Show cannot include blatant violence, guns, or nudity. All art must be original and have been completed within the last three years. Large works, up to 50″, are ideal. Smaller works are acceptable as long as they are properly framed. An artist may enter up to five pieces. The entry fee is $15 per piece. Artwork must be delivered on October 29, between 2 and 6 p.m.
The Gallery is a great place for professional artists to showcase their work in an area with high foot traffic. The Center partners with local schools, groups, art organizations, and artists by providing the opportunity to showcase their work in an venue. An artist reception and awards ceremony for the C3 Art Show is scheduled for November 2. Art pick-up will be November 26 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Carrollwood Cultural Center is and arts-based non-profit organization located in Hillsborough County, north of Tampa, Florida. The Center hosts classes, events, concerts, camps, community groups, art groups, emerging artists, and more.
The Gallery is a living, growing, and constantly changing, display of creative talent of visual artists – both local and international. They have several galleries throughout the building:

- Alcoves for sculpture
Located in the heart of Carrollwood Village, the campus includes a the main building complete with a stage, dance floor, art studios, computer lab, and conference rooms as well as a sister building, The Studio, which provides additional space for classes, performances, room rentals, and gallery displays.
The magic of the Carrollwood Cultural Center began several years ago with a special partnership between Hillsborough County and the Friends of Carrollwood Cultural Center (FCCC), a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents through arts and culture. Together, they have brought the community together through the arts.
At the Carrollwood Cultural Center, you are invited to learn a new skill, revisit an old one, or simply “do that one thing you’ve always wanted to do.”
Through art, ceramics, dance, music, and theatre you will gain a new appreciation for the arts – perhaps even discover a talent you never knew you had. Regardless of the reason, there is always something new and exciting to learn at the Carrollwood Cultural Center.
At the Carrollwood Cultural Center, magic is around every corner. Music fills the air, colors dress the walls, dancers float on stage, and drama evokes emotion. The Center has been honored to host an array of local talents from visual artists, instrumentalists, singers, dancers, and theatre groups.
